Life is a spectrum

of experiences, choices, outcomes.

The only things that are guaranteed are that we are all born and we all die (baby, that’s fact). Wherever you are on the spectrum of life, I’m here to support you. Birth, adoption, abortion, postpartum, post diagnosis and the death of a loved one- these are just some of the life transitions I will walk alongside with you. Each of us has our own path and while only we can walk it, no one has to do it alone.

My mission is to empower you to make the best, informed choices for you and your family based on your specific needs and desires so you can be fully present in each moment of your journey. I will help create space for you to process, celebrate and own your unique experiences as they unfold.

What I Offer

Advocacy

No one can walk your path for you but that doesn’t mean you have to walk it alone. Through education and resource sharing, I will provide unwavering support of you making informed choices that reflect your needs, traditions & desires.

Support

Whether you’re a first or fourth time parent, my goal is to create space for you to focus on what's most important and to help provide you with tools that will empower you in this transition. Each family is unique and so is each care plan.

A Container to Process

Crossing this threshold comes with a flood of sensations and emotions, often conflicting and always transformative. I'll be a steady presence to gently witness, deeply listen, affirm and anchor you.

Birth & Postpartum & Loss

I believe in informed consent and bodily autonomy. As your birth and postpartum doula, I’ll provide information, resources and emotional, physical and practical support to you and your loved ones so you can maintain your right to choose and understand your options as you cross the threshold of becoming a parent. And while I know that no one can guarantee any specific outcome, I also know that when you are supported and heard, that can have an immensely positive impact on your experience no matter how your birth physically unfolds.

Death & Dying

In my over 15 years as a family photojournalist I’ve had the honor of witnessing many individuals transition from this life to the next. I’ve watched both of my parents care for their parents through their final days and deaths and I’ve cared for my father as he navigated a terminal diagnosis and through his transition. Since 2019, I’ve supported the dying and their communities physically, emotionally and practically both virtually and in person. My experience as a death doula also extends to supporting those navigating the steady waves of grief after sudden and traumatic loss.

Through education, normalization, validation, resource sharing and being an unflinching witness, it’s my goal to help reduce fear around the inevitability of death, be a source of comfort to you and yours before, during and after transition and empower you to take ownership of your life and death while you can.
