Photography —

Photography has always been my way of witnessing what matters. Whether you're welcoming a new baby, celebrating a milestone, saying goodbye to someone you love, or simply preserving the beauty of everyday life, I create images that honor your story with honesty, tenderness, and care.

For businesses, I bring the same approach, creating authentic brand and editorial photography that reflects the people, purpose, and heart behind your work.

Doula Services —

Birth, postpartum, miscarriage, abortion, infertility, adoption, end of life, and grief … every transition deserves a witness and compassionate support. As a full-spectrum and death doula, I provide emotional, educational, and practical care tailored to your unique experience, meeting you exactly where you are.

My role is not to lead your journey, but to walk alongside you, creating a space where you feel informed, supported, and deeply seen through every stage of life's unfolding

What People Are Saying

  • “Heather has worked with my family in so many roles for almost a decade. She has documented and provided doula support for two of my births, cared for me after a late term miscarriage, photographed my small, backyard COVID wedding and supported my whole family while my father was dying of cancer. My relationship with Heather is one of the most intimate and special ones I’ve ever had. She is like a best friend, sister, personal documentarian and therapist all in one. I trust her implicitly. “

  • "Heather is the best story teller I've ever known"

  • "I’m so happy I had Heather at my second birth!! I had such a different experience than at my first where I didn’t have a doula and ended up with a c-section that I didn’t want. This time around with Heather’s support, I asked questions and said “no” to things that I didn’t know I could before (like who was in the room and to being hooked up to an IV). Heather was hands on during my whole labor and helped me move into positions that made the contractions more bearable and she helped show my husband how to physically support me too. She also was very comforting, always reminding me what my options were and that I was in charge. I labored unmedicated for longer than I thought I would and then got a epidural and had a successful VBAC! Heather’s support before and during labor and then again in postpartum were so crucial to this being a redemptive experience for me. I can’t recommend her enough!! "

  • "Heather is a fine artist! The images she gave us are ones we will treasure. Her presence felt like an old friend - easy, light, and yet still focused and present. We loved our time with her."

    —Mindy L

  • "It was the best decision I ever made to hire Heather as my postpartum doula. Yes, she cooked and cleaned and held my baby when I slept and showered which was major, but she also held me in ways that I will never forget. She would draw me a bath and make me tea and then sit on the bathroom floor next to the tub and listen to me talk, cry or sometimes sit in complete silence. She helped me identify that what I was experiencing in the weeks after birth was postpartum depression, not just "baby blues" and encouraged me to find a therapist without any judgement. She ended up working with us for four months and it was life saving.

  • "Heather is phenomenal - at zero hour, our birth plan got disrupted. Heather didn't miss a beat and was there every step of the way. She was somehow both incredibly present and helpful when we needed it (she's also a doula but we had only hired her for photography services) while also being invisible as a photographer, all while capturing truly beautiful photos of our child's birth and my wife's labor. Her photos are aesthetically gorgeous, candid, and well-timed - there were no missing moments from the day. I can't recommend her enough!"

  • "It was such a pleasure working with Heather. I wanted a photographer who could capture the essence of our family right now and roll with a challenging 3 y/o who doesn't always want to cooperate. Heather's patient, easy-going, friendly personality made her brilliant at winning over our 3 y/o. She has a sharp eye for these little moments and little expressions that share the story of our family. I love the combination of artistry, creativity, and intimacy of her shots. We got so many beautiful pictures of our family and none of them have that forced, posed feeling. I can't recommend her enough! We all look forward to working with her again."
